Mandheling coffee is grown in the volcanic highlands west of Lake Toba. It is named after the Mandailing people, an ethnic group in North Sumatra. The region uses a unique wet-hulling process (giling basah) that contributes to its bold flavor and deep body.
Mandheling Arabica is popular for its strong body and distinctive earthy profile, often used in espresso blends and dark roast lines. It is one of the most recognized Indonesian coffees on the global stage.
